Advanced Scientific Inquiry in Microbiology

Advanced Scientific Inquiry in Microbiology is the culmination of the course-based research experience curriculum in the undergraduate Microbiology degree program. Students will strengthen their research portfolios by interacting with faculty and other research students.. Students will conduct novel research, both independently and in collaboration with peers and mentors, to develop knowledge about their research problems. Students will gain experience in reading and evaluating scientific literature, participating in discussions of research articles, and presenting scientific findings to peers and other scholars.
