Theory of finite element discretization is highlighted follow by software implementation, emphasis is given on accurate prescription of boundary conditions that represent actual physical systems, modeling exercises and projects include solid structural problems, heat transfer, structural vibrations, fluid dynamics and contact problems, modeling is carried out using commercial software packages.
