Catalog description

This course introduces core concepts in artificial intelligence and its applications in engineering. Students explore the concepts of AI fundamentals, their integration into non-CS domains, and interacting with generative AI and large-language model agents to gather knowledge about problems, as well as utilizing them. Hands-on labs and project-based learning prepare students to understand and apply AI responsibly. Emphasis is placed on the responsible and ethical use of AI tools in learning, professional settings, and real-world contexts.
