Sexual Communication

Sex is a foundational activity in the development and maintenance of human relationships. Communication about sex happens in a myriad of interpersonal, group, organizational, and mediated contexts. This course explores the many ways in which sexual communication intersects with our personal, relational, cultural, and institutional norms and values. Theory and research will be used to examine sexual communication practices and processes on a micro- and macroscopic level.
