Advanced Generalist Practicum I

Catalog description

This is the first practicum in the advanced generalist curriculum. This course enables students to apply advanced generalist master’s level coursework in an advanced generalist practice setting. Students, agency supervisors and faculty field instructors plan activities that will support the development of advanced generalist skills as specified in individualized learning contracts. Students will be exposed to a variety of social work roles and responsibilities. Open to MSW students only. PREREQ: SWK 5300 and SWK 5400 or Admission to the MSW Program - Advanced Standing
