This course introduces students to policy practice by focusing on the historical and contemporary contexts of social welfare policy, policy analysis and policy development processes, and the social, cultural, economic, and political influences that affect social welfare policy. Social work majors must complete this course with a minimum of grade C. PREREQ: SOC 1020, 1050, or 2090; PSY 1010 COREQ: SWK 3050, SWK 3450
