Catalog description

This course provides an integrative approach to curriculum development centered on inquiry-based teaching and learning. The core learnings include EDIA+ principles to promote student engagement, development of historical literacy aligned with the NCSS C-3 Framework’s Inquiry Design Model, transformative technology integration, and assessment as instruction. The use of technology is a core component of the course; appropriate digital tools will be required.
