Crosslisted: (EDN 5120) An introduction to and an analysis of the principles, problems, characteristics, and psychological aspects of children who have mental retardation; learning disabilities; visual impairments; hearing handicaps; communication disorders; behavior disorders multiple, severe, and physical handicaps; as well as talents and gifts. Contemporary issues in special education as they relate to the inservice educator are explored. Field experience required.
