Catalog description

This course provides students with philosophical and historical perspectives of teaching science as it prepares students to develop their own philosophy of teaching. Students will incorporate their philosophies within various developmentally appropriate course materials such as: development of behavioral management plans and lesson plans that implement research-based highly effective teaching and learning strategies. Field Experience within a local science classroom is required. PREREQ: SCE 3000 or SCE 3010
