Early Experiences for Prospective Science Teachers

Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce the teaching of science for prospective secondary science teachers. The course provides a study of the importance of observation and reflection, implementation of national and state science standards within lesson plans, and an introduction to characteristics, and categories of student diversity. Field Experience within a local science classroom is required.
