Catalog description

This course investigates the history of the relationships between religion and various forms of media, especially modern ones. A brief history of religion and the media will be followed by a focus on Christianity in North America and its relationship with different forms of media including tracts, radio, television, films, and social/internet. Other forms of media and religious relationship examples may be included.
