Special Issues in Reading Education

This course uniquely prepares pre‐service teachers to examine a variety of literacy strategies, methods, and developmentally appropriate resources for cross‐curricular classroom use for special populations (Special Education/AIG) as well as appropriate strategies for evaluation and selection of those resources, and current issues that affect curriculum decisions for meeting the diverse needs of these populations. Field Experience Required. PREREQ: Admission to Educator Preparation Program.
