Catalog description

Through lectures, discussions, reading, writing, projects, and hands-on social media work, students will learn how social media has revolutionized the practice of public relations in the 21 st century. Students will explore and apply the theories and ideas of best practices for public relations on social media. Students will learn how to use and understand analytical data for the top social media sites and craft a social media plan of their own for an organization of their choosing. PREREQ: PRE 2200
