Catalog description

This course introduces students to theories of international relations, including not only the main theoretical approaches of realism, liberalism, and constructivism, but also emergent theories such as feminism, green theory, and global approaches to IR. The course argues for a diverse approach to international relations theory rather than one that assumes the dominance of a particular theoretical approach. PREREQ: PLS 1000 or PLS 1010
