Catalog description
This courses examines the politics and governments of Europe, with an emphasis on Western Europe. Selected countries within Europe may be identified for in-depth comparison. Topics will include political culture, political thought, geography, history, political and economic development, and comparative public policy. The course will contain an analysis of the foreign policies of Europe with special attention to the role of the U.S. in that area. PREREQ: PLS 1000 or 1010
