Catalog description

This course examines the politics and governments of Latin America. Selected countries within Latin America may be identified for in-depth comparison. Topics will include political culture, political thought, geography, history, political and economic development, and comparative public policy. The course will contain an analysis of the foreign policies of Latin America with special attention to the role of the U.S. in that area. PREREQ: PLS 1000 or 1010
