Crosslisted: (PLS 2220/HST 2220) An introduction to the field of Asian Studies through an interdisciplinary perspective combining history, politics, economics, philosophy, and culture using a variety of theories, methodologies, and sources (textbook, book chapters, articles, literature). The course focuses on East Asia (China, Japan, Korea) but will also include India, Southeast Asia, and other countries. PREREQ: C or better in ENG 1050 .
