Catalog description

This course examines the principles and practices of assessment in K-12 physical education. Students will explore a variety of assessment methods to measure student learning in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. Emphasis is placed on aligning assessments with instructional objectives, interpreting data to inform instruction, and developing tools for both formative and summative evaluation. Best practices for grading and feedback in physical education settings will also be addressed.
