Catalog description
This course explores methods and strategies for teaching physical education, with a strong focus on designing and delivering effective learning experiences. Students will develop foundational skills in lesson planning and examine the principles of effective instruction. Key topics include creating appropriate learning experiences, developing instructional content, fostering student motivation, and applying inclusive teaching techniques. Students will also be introduced to observational tools to support instructional practice. As part of the course requirements, students will complete a practice edTPA Part 1.
