This course provides an overview of healthcare management principles and duties, including staffing, supervision, budgeting, marketing, and quality management. Students will learn about local, state, and federal laws and regulations and resources affecting healthcare. Students will learn to develop a business plan; and local laws, regulations, and resources for rural populations. Major emphasis is on advocacy, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
