Catalog description

This course introduces students to current and emerging practice areas in the domain of mental health and wellness promotion. Students will learn how to assess the symptoms of mental illness and how to facilitate person-centered care planning and delivery of evidence-based interventions within interdisciplinary contexts. Students will practice administering cognitive assessments and facilitate therapeutic groups. Lecture and Laboratory. PREREQ: OCCT 5000 COREQ: OCCT 5400
