Family Primary Care II/ Diagnosis and Management II Across the Lifespan

Catalog description
This concept-based course is the second in the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) primary care sequence. It provides advanced didactic and clinical education in the diagnosis, management, and evaluation of common acute and chronic health problems across the lifespan, with a focused emphasis on gastrointestinal, hematologic/oncologic, neurologic, and renal disorders. Students will build upon foundational skills developed in Diagnosis and Management I, deepening their application of clinical reasoning, diagnostic testing, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients in diverse healthcare settings. Special focus will be given to the integration of pathophysiology, pharmacology, advanced assessment, and current clinical guidelines. PREREQ: NUR 6010, 6015 COREQ: NUR 6025
