3-0 This course focuses on curriculum design in nursing education. Theories of education and cognitive development, as a foundation for program development, will be presented. Students will participate in the curriculum-design process using mission and philosophy statements as the basis of curriculum development. The evaluation process and its impact on curriculum development, implementation and outcomes will be considered.
