This course examines the physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual aspects of aging, within the context of family and society. Emphasis is on trends, theories, evidence-based findings, and multidimensional changes of aging and the use of the nursing process as a framework for addressing issues related to health promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention in older adults.
