A hybrid lecture and performance course focusing on the musical, historical, and dramatic analysis of 19 th & 20 th century English operetta, and early musical theatre. Students will perform selected works at the end of the semester in a recital setting. PREREQ: MUS 1140 - Theory I (for music majors) or permission of instructor.
