Catalog description

Crosslisted: (EDN 4000) This course presents modern techniques, methods, materials, and assessment practices in the teaching of mathematics. Required field experience provides opportunities for observations, interviews, and teaching lessons in middle or high school mathematics classroom. Laboratory work provides experience in developing lesson plans that utilize materials and methods appropriate for classroom use. Support and resources for edTPA are also covered to prepare for internship. This class is intended to be taken the semester prior to internship. PREREQ: MAT 2500 .
