Catalog description

This course will trace the contours of the Civil Rights Movement of the mid-20th century United States, including actions by African Americans, American Indians, Hispanic Americans, women, and gay and lesbian Americans. Students will explore the issues, events, conflicts, historical actors, and scholarly interpretations of these inter- and intra-related movements. PREREQ/COREQ: HST 3000; or ENG 1060 and HST 1030; or Instructor Permission
