This course is designed to explore health education teaching strategies with a specific emphasis on designing and delivering learning experiences through the skills-based approach. Curriculum planning, creating a positive learning environment, motivation, assessment, professional development, and specific skills related to teaching K-12 students will be addressed. Individuals in this course will be instructed on how to provide appropriate learning experiences to meet state and national standards.
