Catalog description

This is an introductory course on influences that impact population health. This course engages students in the critical analysis of sociocultural issues and behaviors that impact health. This course will provide knowledge of issues related to health that consider behavioral, physiological, and structural factors in population health beyond the healthcare system. Students will examine societal issues utilizing the multivariate factors that contribute to health inequities.
