This course provides students with a deep understanding of the structure and management of healthcare systems. The course explores leadership strategies, types of healthcare facilities, staffing and workforce, quality, population health, and the complexities of healthcare governance, including relationships between providers, payers, and regulators. Students will analyze key operational challenges and learn to implement effective management practices to improve efficiency and patient care, and be equipped to lead and organize healthcare institutions in a rapidly evolving industry.
