Crosslisted: (AIS 3470) A critical study of Native American poetry and poetics, with emphasis on social, political, cultural, and Native national histories. Particular attention will be paid to the techniques of these authors with a focus on the relationship between oral traditions and contemporary poetry. PREREQ: ENG 3040 , or permission of instructor.
