The purpose of this course is to help candidates deepen their understanding of mathematics and science by supporting effective teaching and learning. Emphasis is on a constructivist approach that promotes engagement and conceptual understanding. Candidates apply research to instructional practices, designing lessons that connect theory to classroom application while fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and meaningful learning in mathematics and science.
