Catalog description
This course is designed to reinforce the sociocultural context in which K-6 social studies are taught with an emphasis on ways to engage diverse learners with social studies in ways that are meaningful and authentic. Emphasis includes our multicultural and global society and exploring differentiated teaching strategies that fit a variety of learning environments. Admission to Educator Preparation Program is required. PREREQ: ELE 3040 and RDG 3060
