Curriculum Leadership

Catalog description

In this course, candidates will be introduced to the role of curriculum leadership and understand the process of curriculum development, implementation, and standards alignment. Strategies for improving curricular leadership and supervision in the areas of planning, delivery, and learning outcomes will be explored throughout the course. Candidates will demonstrate their understanding of the North Carolina Standards for School Executives by creating critical evidence that aligns activities with specific leadership standards. Candidates will participate in field experience resulting in an evidence-based curriculum leadership project.
