Catalog description

In this course, candidates will be introduced to strategies that empower leadership in partnership building with approaches for identifying and structuring family, school, and community support. The candidate will examine the essential spheres of influence around candidates and learn how to develop approaches and lead innovative strategies to develop a strategic network of external support designed to help meet the needs of every student. Course projects and assignments will be field-based, collaborative, and reflect current best practices. Candidates will participate in field experience resulting in an evidence-based plan to engage community stakeholders.
