Early Adolescent Growth and Development and Learning Communities

Catalog description

This course will focus on the physical, cognitive, socio-emotional, and moral stages of human development of adolescents between the ages of 10 and 14. Emphasis will be placed on individual differences and how educators can employ principles of curriculum and instruction to address the needs of adolescents. The impact of social and environmental factors on adolescents will be a key component of this course.
