Catalog description

This is a basic course in econometrics. Students will acquire the necessary quantitative skills to conduct applied analyses. Topics will include hypothesis testing, multiple regression, regression diagnostics, time-series analysis and forecasting, and the interpretation of regression results. Students will be taught to use econometrics software. Some calculus concepts will be reviewed. PREREQ: C or better in DSC 3180 or in MAT 2100.
