Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the economics of education, focusing on the role of education on outcomes for both individuals and the broader society. Topics include models for production of and investment in education, school finance, class size, teacher quality, vouchers and school choice, racial inequalities in education, alternative education programs, teacher labor markets, financial aid and enrollment decisions in higher education, and the economics of college life. PREREQ: C or better in ECN 2020
