Designing and Implementing Relevant Classroom Instruction

Catalog description

This course is designed as an inquiry-based learning experience, grounded in theory and practice, and focused on how to develop, assess and evaluate curriculum, instruction, and resources in preschool and kindergarten classrooms. The experiences in this class will provide students with opportunities to plan and implement edTPA learning segments, design effective assessments, and conduct educational assessment and evaluation. There is a field experience requirement. This course is to be taken the semester prior to internship. Admission to Educator Preparation Program required.
