Integrated Curricula and Appropriate Practices: Kindergarteners

Catalog description

This course provides an examination of curricula and program models suitable for implementation in the inclusive kindergarten classroom. Emphasis is placed on the integration of disciplines through the developmentally appropriate application of the NC Standard Course of Study and methods to motivate young children to engage in active learning. Planning, implementation, assessment and reflection are critical components of the course. Admission to the Educator Preparation Program is required.
