This course is designed to equip early childhood educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to thoughtfully, intentionally, and effectively integrate technology into early learning environments. Grounded in developmentally appropriate practice, the course explores how digital tools can enhance learning while supporting each child’s unique developmental needs and learning styles. Emphasis is placed on using an interdisciplinary approach on design, selection, and production of instructional materials, while adhering to policies and regulations related to technology use in early childhood education, instructional strategies, assistive technology. Students will be able to demonstrate effective integration of educational technology and implementation of various modes of technology to enhance planning, instruction, assessment, and communication with families and communities. PREREQ: Admission to the EPP; GPA 2.70
