Catalog description

This course is designed to offer students the opportunity to examine the critical importance of values and beliefs related to culture, ethnicity, and language traditions. Focusing on the practice of culturally sensitive interventions and effective communication and interaction among families, schools, and other professionals will enable students to develop the skills necessary to become culturally competent early childhood educators. 2.0 overall GPA. or higher is required.
