Catalog description

This course covers the concepts and methodologies in data analytics, the techniques of using data analytics to obtain information and intelligence, and the applications of data analytics in business decision making. Topics include data collection, cleaning, and summarization, data visualization, data mining, analysis of variance, interpreting data analysis results, and reporting findings from a data analysis process. PREREQ: C or better in DSC 3140 or in DSC 3180 or its equivalents
