Catalog description

This is an introductory course on Artificial Intelligence in cybersecurity. Topics include AI fundamentals; intelligent agents; search algorithms; supervised and unsupervised learning; decision tree learning; neural networks; deep Learning; nearest neighbor methods; AI/ML impact on cybersecurity; data-driven methods for applied cybersecurity and how they are used in applications such as Malware Analysis, Network Vulnerability Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, Risk Prediction, Incident Diagnosis, and Response, etc. The course also covers how hackers can use AI and Adversarial ML in Cybersecurity. PREREQ: CYB 3020
