Catalog description
This course will introduce the use of sand tray as a therapeutic techniques. It will explore the history and rationale of various sand tray modalities including protocols, strategies for processing, and selection of sand tray miniatures. Students will learn about sand tray theory and skills to use with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups. Students will also have the opportunity to experience sand tray activities. PREREQ: Admission to the Professional School Counselor Program, Clinical Mental Health Program, or Play Therapy Graduate Certificate Program.
