Catalog description

This introductory biotechnology course is a comprehensive exploration of the basics of biotechnology and its methodologies. Topics include recombinant DNA, production of biological molecules, bioprocessing, and current events, the history and applications of DNA/RNA technology, molecular biology, bioethics, and laboratory safe practices. Careers in the field will be discussed throughout the course.
