Catalog description

By the end of this course, the student will understand the anatomical and functional processes that control reproduction in mammals and have acquired the knowledge of the basic causes and concepts of reproductive failure and the application of different techniques to improve reproductive efficiency. A wide range of animal species are covered (cattle, sheep, goats, horse, pigs, rabbits, and companion animals) with a particular emphasis on livestock and species of interest in animal production. Lecture and Laboratory. PREREQ: BIO 1000 with C or better, BIO 1020
