Crosslisted: (ENG 3440) A critical study of the Native American novel from its inception to the present, with emphasis on social, political, and cultural history. Particular attention will be paid to the narrative techniques of these authors with a focus on the relationship between oral traditions and the form of the novel. PREREQ: ENG 3040 or permission of instructor.
