Catalog description

This course will explore feminist perspectives on food justice. We will focus on the gendered labor of food production and current problems, including the role of agriculture in climate change and consumption patterns. Material will cover both historical and contemporary periods but focus on 20th and 21st century United States. Students will complete several short writing assignments, one interactive project, and a final project.
