This course introduces students to the foundational principles of social work research and evidence-based practice. Through critical engagement with research literature, students will learn how to identify, evaluate, and apply empirical evidence to inform ethical and effective social work interventions. Emphasis is placed on research design, community-engaged methods, and the role of data in advancing social work practice. Students will develop core skills in literature review, peer collaboration, and research communication, preparing them for evidence-informed social work practice.
